MYente web community – more and more women are joining

Yente's web community is really getting under way - the group of women entrepreneurs at www.MYente.org is growing every week. Just take a look at the MYente marketplace and see the colourful array of products from women in Kenya, South Africa, Peru and Bolivia. And furthermore, the first agreements for collaboration are already being set up.
This month the MYente web community has become even more interactive and dynamic. A Google map indicates where all the MYente members are located, making it much easier to find collaboration partners in specific countries.

Agenda

Knowledge-sharing mission to South Africa

Begin datum: 30/10/2010

The trade mission to South Africa organised by Yente in 2007 is being followed up in 2010. The trip, taking place in November 2010, will have a completely new set-up. It will be a real ‘knowledge mission', with a great deal of emphasis on exchange, networking and the creation of durable trade relationships.

In addition, Yente wants to encourage the Dutch participants to enter into one-to-one ‘sparring partnerships' with female entrepreneurs in South Africa. Sparring partners enter into an agreement for a set period to mentor one another with knowledge, experience and intermediation. In co-operation with SANEC, the preparations for this constructive trade mission have already begun.

Please make a note in your diary of the dates: 30 October to 6 November 2010.
