1. Complaints must be made in writing to the board of the Yente Foundation within two months of arising.
2. The board will collate all the necessary information relating to the complaint and will consult professionals involved and the person or organisation making the complaint. The board will make a written evaluation of the complaint based on all the information obtained. The board, if it so wishes, may consult Yente's Advisory Council. The board of Yente will provide a written and substantiated opinion within eight weeks.
3. If the opinion is not accepted by the complainant, the complainant can appeal to the board of the Yente Foundation within four weeks. The board of Yente will provide a binding opinion within six weeks.
4. If the binding opinion issued by the board is not accepted by the complainant, legal recourse can be sought subject to Dutch law.
5. The board will compile an annual list of the complaints received and how they were dealt with.
