Yente Fund
The Yente Fund is functioning as the ‘connecting link' for people and companies from The Netherlands, who intend to take some action and who want to convert their social involvement into concrete actions. A donation to the Yente Fund represents a well pointed support for female entrepreneurship. Read more
The Friends of Yente
The strengthening of international women's entrepreneurship promotes economic independence of women, with the result that they can take care of their own needs in life and of their social environment. That's why these women became a Friend of Yente.

I became a friend because I am convinced that, when women will be world wide treated equally and offered the same opportunities as given to men, the world would look much better in many ways. This is by the way not only true for the developing countries, it is valid as well for the so-called developed countries around us.

Joes Bink, aroma therapist:
As an aroma therapist, I work for 100% with natural ethereal oils. One of those oils, Vetiver, is symbolic for my friendship with Yente. As a plant, Vetiver (a sort of grass) is symbolic for a strong growth power. It spread its many roots (as a huge network) and keeps as such the earth together (as well by aridity as by rain). As an ethereal oil, it is a tonic for the reproduction system and it allows you to feel the power within yourself. A little bit of oil already generates an important impact. Every drop (contribution) to Yente, strengthens the growth and connects the power of female entrepreneurs.

From my role as woman and mother, from my personal history and development, from my profesionalism as verlieskundige (=expert who helps people who suffer from a loss), I believe it is important that women all over the world, can develop with the help of emancipation, their independance, their force and power. It is important that they can get their profit out of their backlog, without being blocked by restrictions and obstructions, and that they may become the person that they always wanted to be. 'A journey of a thousand miles, starts with one step.' As a friend of Yente, you help many others to make their first step.

Why I am warmhearted with regards to Yente? Because for every actual female entrepreneur, another woman had to fight in the past. We are privileged and rich and we should act now as the evident advocates for the other women. It is our turn now.
