Yente Fund
The Yente Fund is functioning as the ‘connecting link' for people and companies from The Netherlands, who intend to take some action and who want to convert their social involvement into concrete actions. A donation to the Yente Fund represents a well pointed support for female entrepreneurship. Read more
Objective and mission
The mission of Foundation Yente is the reinforcement of international women's entrepreneurship worldwide.
The vision of Yente is that the strengthening of international women's entrepreneurship promotes economic independence of women, with the result that they can take care of their own needs in life and of their social environment being inextricably joined with Acceptable Social Responsibility (CSR). International entrepreneurship is here a concept; it can range from making the first contacts for the exchange of experience in the enterprise to building production and trade chains which go beyond the borders.
The chosen interventions are:
- increased access to (International) markets through international missions and networks between entrepreneurs in the Netherlands and entrepreneurs in the South
- increased access to knowledge and information (capacity-building), through exchange of knowledge and skills through seminars, workshops, networks, digital platforms, sparring-partner programs, individual programs
- support the strengthening and increasing of visible female entrepreneurship by organizing networks- and information days, participation in business panels, representation at seminars and network meetings.
