Yente - The matchmaker

International sparring partnership

With the purpose to gather worldwide women who have their own company, Yente offers as well a sparring partner program. This program brings female entrepreneurs together, who are looking for international interaction. Via regular mutual contacts, they can exchange knowledge and obtain advice. The ‘sparring' can occur at any frequency and in every desired way: via the Internet, by phone or Skype. The subject can be the exchange of business advices and recommendations within the own branch or on purpose from different business domains.

The sparring partners can opt after some time as well for a more intense interaction: Dutch entrepreneurs who put their business knowledge and experience for a few weeks at the disposal of their sparring partner, who lives at the other side of the World. Within this frame, a journey can take place to provide the entrepreneur the necessary advice "on the job". The other way around, a Latin-American or an African sparring partner can stay for a number of weeks of apprentice in The Netherlands, to exchange knowledge, to magnify her network and to do business.

World wide match making

Social involvement is evident for women from all over the world. Within the entrepreneurship, their merits are almost always in favour of the community, contrary to the merits produced by men. Despite this fact, the access to the (international) market remains more difficult for women. Yente tries to remove those boundaries by providing concrete support to these female entrepreneurs.

An essential form of this support, is the international match making, where Yente is active as a real "match maker'. Preliminary to the trade missions from and to South-Africa and Peru, the participating entrepreneurs were put upfront and on purpose into contact with potential commercial relations from the countries at both sides.Contacts which have lead into practice to personal encounters and serious business activities.

Yente is furthermore at any moment ready to establish business contacts for Dutch female entrepreneurs, with her partners and networks of female entrepreneurs in Peru, Bolivia, Austria and South-Africa.
