Yente's mission

Yente's vision

  • is to join forces with and encourage synergy between local and international parties who support our mission and core values in the interest of expanding female entrepreneurship in all regions.
  • We will be recognized internationally for our standard-setting matchmaking programmes and (online) networks for the
    exchange of knowledge and business opportunities between women entrepreneurs.
  • Yente will be a multiplier of know-how and skills in regions where women have limited access to business education and
    entrepreneurship.
  • We will facilitate the establishment of networks of women entrepreneurs that provide valuable services to all members
    seeking to expand their businesses.
  • Our networks will bring hope, inspiration and encouragement to women and will also function as a stepping stone to Yente's
    global network of business opportunities.

Our vision in 3 x 5 years stepping stones

  • Within 5 years from now Yente will have achieved a sustainable !nancial structure whereby corporate sponsorships, subsidies and income derived from our events are well balanced. Our MYente online community will have grown to 3000 members. Yente will have succesfully switched from a country to a regional approach.
  • 10 years from now our regions will comprise between 10 and 15 countries in Eastern and Southern Africa, Latin America and Southern Asia. Yente will have a broad !nancial base securing the continuity of the organization.
  • 15 years from now Yente will be a well-known international brand We will have facilitated 10 regional networks that interconnect and reach all parts of the world. Local, independently managed strategies will be driven by one and the same Yente mission. There will be tangible increases in employment and incomes in all areas where Yente will be active With 12000 members, our MYente online community will be known as the source of entrepreneurs who produce high quality, authentic products in accordance with responsible social, economic and environmental conditions.
